In its natural state it is a white powder that is insoluble in water, but it is soluable when it is placed into other liquids like alcohol and chloroform. It is commonly found in the lavendar plant and sweet clover leaf. Its is made of 19 carbon atoms, 16 hydrogen atoms, and 4 oxygen atoms or C19H16O4.
